T.C. Young + Davy James = Young James. These songwriters’ paths first crossed in the 90s, when their bands played shows together. The collaboration began with their self-titled debut in 2008, followed by Cruel Times in 2012.
Hard Way Road was recorded over the winter in T.C.’s basement studio. These four songs are filled with prairie imagery, strong melodies, and a healthy dose of twang and grit.
